About Me!
Hello! My name is Ms. Shanice! I am a mom to two amazing sprouts! have a B.A. in Early Childhood and Special Education from Bowie State University. I also hold a current Maryland educators teachers certificate, with added emphasis on early literacy and writing.
I've been teaching young children for over 10 years, with 7 years teaching in a public classroom and virtual setting in grades Pre-K and Kindergarten.
At Sprout & Shine, I believe every child is a seed with the potential to grow into something beautiful. My cozy, home-based program offers a safe, loving, and fun environment where children can explore, learn, and shine in their own unique way.
With a focus on play-based learning, kindergarten readiness, and social-emotional growth, I blend structure with creativity so your child is ready for whatever’s next!
